About Scott Watson

I was born in Charleston, West Virginia, and raised in Richmond, Virginia. In 2005, during my senior semester at Virginia Commonwealth University, I relocated to the Lake Gaston region. I completed my undergraduate studies at VCU in 2006, earning a business degree with a specialization in Real Estate and Land Development. Here's an overview of my professional journey:

 

Since settling in the Lake Gaston area, I've been blessed to marry my wonderful wife, Angel, and together, we've had the joy of raising our three children. My role as a husband and father is my driving force for success in everything I pursue. As an active member of the local community, I contribute my time in various ways, including coaching youth sports at the county level and within local churches. Given my passion for sports during my youth, I couldn't resist the opportunity to help when I saw a need in our community. Additionally, I'm proud to have served on the Board of Directors of the Lake Gaston Regional Chamber of Commerce since 2012. During this time, working alongside dedicated board members and our exceptional director, we've implemented numerous marketing strategies that have contributed to remarkable growth within the business community and beyond. Serving on the board has provided me with a profound personal investment in the ongoing success and expansion of our community.
